About the role
Coordinates and expedites the flow of work and materials within or between departments according to daily and weekly production schedules. Reviews and comprehends specifications to ensure compliance with customer processing requirements. Verifies customer purchase orders to confirm the company can meet process requirements. Develops detailed, step-by-step work instructions for manufacturing complex machine details and assembling aircraft components. Determines the need for additional sketches and aides. Analyzes customer engineering drawings and models to identify configuration changes. Understands the MRP system to maintain the database and generate work orders and related documentation. Creates work order and certification documents to provide flow-down of information and objective evidence of specification and conformance. Comprehends supplied purchase orders and blueprints for proper flow-down to processes. Plans and schedules workflow for each department and operation according to established manufacturing sequences and lead times. Provides technical support to internal departments and outsourcing vendor bases.

Requirements
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
- Good grammar
- Computer skills
- Ability to read blueprints and specifications
- Data entry experience

Pay
$16.90 to $23.36 per hour (DOE)
Work environment
The majority of work is performed in an office/manufacturing setting. This position requires access to knowledge and technical data regulated by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
