Planner

About the role

The Planner administers the town's Development Review Board (DRB) permits and serves as Zoning Administrator, guiding the public through the permitting process. This role staffs DRB meetings, drafts findings and decisions, conducts site inspections, and investigates violations to ensure compliance.

Requirements

• A relevant bachelor's degree plus two years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Excellent customer service experience in a professional office setting required
• Must possess valid driver’s license
• Experience in zoning administration is valued but not a prerequisite

• Proficient in standard office suites and custom databases
• GIS experience preferred
