About the role
Develops and maintains the company production plan within a lean manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Develops and maintains a production plan and inventory plan within a lean environment.
- Works closely with customers to meet production plans.
- Identifies capacity constraints and brings recommendations to management for resolution.
- Provides planning support to all new product introductions.
- Pursues continuous improvement in all activities.
- Assists in developing financial budgets.
- Provides information on plant metrics and performance.
- Routinely reviews performance against the existing production schedule and makes adjustments as needed.
- Responsible for addressing backorders with vendors and developing plans to recover.
- Maintains integrity of planning data within ERP system and conducts periodic reviews.
- Responsible for performance management, including selection, training, employee development, performance reviews, cross training, and disciplinary action.
- Completes special projects as assigned.
- Once competency is demonstrated, may be required to train others in similar roles.
Requirements
- 4-year Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, or related field preferred.
- APICS certification preferred.
- 5-10 years of experience.
- Previous supervisory experience preferred.
- Previous experience and knowledge of GMP within the medical device field preferred.

Pay
Salary range: $70,000 – $100,000 USD (actual salary offered will be based on experience, skills, qualifications, market/business considerations, and geographic location).
