About the role
The Planner will be responsible for developing and maintaining the master schedule for aircraft projects. This role involves coordinating with various departments to ensure optimal utilization of resources and alignment with customer requirements.
Responsibilities
- Supports sales in the Request for Schedule for available capacity and slots.
- Works with the Operations teams as needed to adjust or define any constraints.
- Initial customer contact to verify the work scope.
- Acts as the liaison between the customer and Operations.
- Buils work packages based on customer requirements.
- Researches parts before the aircraft arrives.
- Requests materials from Purchasing.
- Coeorks with outside vendors/repairs before aircraft arrival.
- Researches applicable Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins.
- Maintains the master schedule for all aircraft projects.
- Coeorks with project managers, production teams, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate scheduling and resource allocation.
- Supports operations meetings as required to communicate scheduling constraints and/or gaps.
- Analyzes current and forecasted workloads to determine capacity requirements.
- Identifies and addresses potential bottlenecks and resource constraints.
- Analyzes scheduling data for variability, cohesiveness, and adequacy.
- Maintains the integrity of all schedule data.
- Adjusts schedules as necessary to accommodate changes in project scope, priorities, and resource availability.
- Tracks and reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to scheduling and capacity planning.
- Implements continuous improvement initiatives to enhance scheduling efficiency and accuracy.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Technical Certification or bachelor’s degree in business or related curriculum; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential job functions.
- Two (2) years of experience in Corporate Aviation Scheduling. Demand/Capacity Planning Experience Is Preferred.
- Excellent understanding and proficient use of Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint and Word for Windows.
- Knowledge Of Corridor Is Preferred But Not Required.
- Proficient use of other scheduling programs, spreadsheets, word processors, and databases.
- Demonstrated analytical skills and problem resolution skills.
- Ability to address and resolve issues pertaining to what if scenario development.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills required.

Pay
The salary range for this position generally ranges between $50,000 - $60,000. Actual rate will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience and performance.
