Plane Train Cleaner Shift Superviser

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the work of plane train cleaning staff during assigned shifts.
• Assign daily work schedules and monitor employee attendance and productivity.
• Inspect train cars, stations, platforms, restrooms, and public areas to ensure cleanliness and quality standards are met.
• Train new employees on cleaning procedures, equipment operation, safety protocols, and company policies.
• Ensure compliance with airport security requirements and OSHA safety regulations.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; request replacements as needed.
• Respond to emergency cleaning situations and customer service requests.
• Complete shift reports, inspections, and documentation accurately and on time.
• Address employee performance issues and provide coaching and support.
• Communicate with airport management and other departments to ensure efficient operations.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• Previous custodial, janitorial, or airport cleaning experience is required.
• Prior supervisory or team lead experience is preferred.
• The ability to obtain and maintain airport security clearance is required.
• The ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical duties, including standing, walking, bending, and climbing is required.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts is required.
