Job Summary
The Plan Reviewer/Building Inspector will perform complex skilled technical work reviewing plans and inspecting properties and reviewing plans for compliance with City codes, and related work as apparent or assigned.
Building Inspector Senior Job Requirements
Education Requirement: High school diploma or GED and extensive experience in plan review and building inspections.
Certifications Required: International Code Council (ICC) certifications in the areas of Plans Examiner for International Building & Residential Codes 1 & 2, Family Building Inspector, Building Inspector and Commercial Building Inspector.
Valid driver's license is also required for the position.
