About the role
This position provides the necessary leadership, direction, and management control for planning, design, and construction projects at assigned hospital campuses or clinics. The project manager is responsible for the successful completion of all assigned projects.
Responsibilities
- Manage the planning, design, and construction phases of projects
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
- Oversee project budgets and timelines
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders
- Resolve project issues and conflicts
- Prepare and present project reports to senior management
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- Five years of progressive experience managing construction projects in the commercial, education, or healthcare industries
- Effective team leadership skills and strong customer service orientation
- Analytical skills to resolve project problems
- Ability to articulate high-level and detailed aspects of a situation or project to non-subject matter experts
- Solid organizational and prioritization skills
- Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing work requirements
- Knowledge of owner MTS and FFE scopes
- Proficient typing and use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
