Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5 or more years’ experience in relationship management that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- State Insurance license (preferred)
- Travel up to 25%
Responsibilities
- Act as a subject matter expert to internal stakeholders by consulting on complex strategies to optimize client satisfaction and retention
- Build and direct a complex relationship platform by identifying executive contacts within targeted consulting and brokerage firms
- Build, enhance, and maintain effective relationships with complex client organizations to ensure high client satisfaction, retention, and increased sales revenues and profitability
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders on RFPs and go-to-market strategy
- Develop a multifaceted understanding of existing and targeted client organizations
- Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders to achieve overall organizational objectives
- Develop, maintain, and execute complex client relationship plans to ensure clients' overall service needs are met
- Identify and resolve complex client issues and concerns in a timely manner
- Identify clients with retention risk and develop and execute complex plans to retain clients
- Meet or exceed all department targets for assigned clients
- Participate in financial services and/or insurance industry trade organization meetings to build and strengthen market presence
- Provide feedback and intelligence to internal partners and clients
- Serve as a subject matter expert to internal and external stakeholders by leveraging advanced understanding and expertise of our products, services, and operational structure
- Drive retention goals across assigned clients
- Internally manage and partner with each operational area to ensure overall organizational growth and success
- Perform other related duties as required
Pay
The salary range for this job is $150,000 - $170,000. This range considers factors such as education, experience, licensure, certifications, geographic location, and peer compensation. At Aflac, compensation decisions depend on individual circumstances.
