Placement Counselor Supervisor

Work Ready provides a comprehensive set of employment-oriented services to those receiving Public Assistance benefits, including those who need specific help managing barriers to self-sufficiency. This role is located at 123 S Broad Street and offers a hybrid environment: 3 days onsite and 2 days remote.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all job development activities.
- Oversee customized job development and job matching.
- Ensure diligent tracking and documentation of employment information from all staff.
- Coordinate services regarding clients’ job placement goals and appropriate job search activities.
- Oversee and facilitate relationship building with area employers.
- Collaborate with organizations providing job placement services.
- Market program services and participants to employers via phone, video conference, and personal contacts.
- Actively engage TANF clients in the direction of employment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; appropriate experience or special training may be substituted in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
- 3 years’ experience in sales, workforce development, placement, and/or job development.
- 3 years supervisory experience preferred.
- Inner city travel required.

Pay
The base pay for this position ranges from $51,000 to $60,000. Base pay is one part of the Total Compensation that JEVS Human Services provides to recognize employees for their work.
Schedule
This is a full-time position, 35 hours per week.
