PKI Policy Specialist, Lead
When our country’s cyber security is on the line, simply reacting is not enough—we need a plan. And when that plan needs to support the Department of War's Information Technology infrastructure, we need strategic policy development. As a cyber strategic planning and policy development specialist on our team, you’ll lead the assessment of the Department's current cyber policies, the coverage of those policies, and areas of risks. You’ll evaluate how policies stack up to regulations, best practices, and industry standards. As you guide your client through understanding acceptable risk and availability, you’ll advance the development of a strategic cyber roadmap. You’ll work to ensure the client operates securely as they navigate an evolving IT environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead the assessment of the Department of War's current cyber policies, coverage, and risk areas
- Evaluate policies against regulations, best practices, and industry standards
- Guide clients in understanding acceptable risk and availability
- Advance the development of a strategic cyber roadmap
- Ensure secure operations in an evolving IT environment
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience working in a professional environment
- 5+ years of experience with cybersecurity policy
- 3+ years of experience with Department of War Cyber Security, ICAM, or PKI policy
- Knowledge of Department of War policy processes
- Secret clearance
- HS diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with the Office of the Secretary of War (OSW) and OSW-level governance
- Knowledge of IT implementation in the Department of War
- CISSP, CISM, or other DoD 8140-compliant certification

Full-time and part-time employees working at least 20 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in Booz Allen’s benefit programs. Individuals that do not meet the threshold are only eligible for select offerings, not inclusive of health benefits.
Pay
Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD).
