About the role
The position is for a full-time PK-8th grade instructional assistant for the 2026-2027 school year and beyond. The location is at Imnaha Bridge School and the schedule is 30-32 hours per week. The hourly wage range is $18.76 – $24.47 based on experience.
Responsibilities
- Supports classroom teachers in providing a safe and nurturing learning environment
- Assists in managing student behavior and classroom management
- Helps implement lesson plans and activities as directed by teachers
- Provides additional academic support to students as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with children in a school setting preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Knowledge of educational strategies and techniques
- Ability to manage classroom materials and supplies
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
Skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Positive attitude and ability to work well with all students and staff
