About the role

The successful candidate will collaborate with administrators and classroom teachers to provide inclusive, multi-tiered Gifted and Talented services in a regular education classroom through differentiated curriculum, team teaching, and coaching.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with administrators and classroom teachers to provide inclusive, multi-tiered Gifted and Talented services in a regular education classroom through differentiated curriculum, team teaching, and coaching.
• Administer assessments and identify students for the Gifted and Talented program.
• Deliver Gifted and Talented programming in a regular education setting.
• Communicate effectively with teachers in a coaching/ team teaching model.
• Participate in professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements

• Certified through MDOE: 690 certification/endorsement Gifted & Talented Certification
• Passionate about children and learning
• Able to communicate effectively with teachers in a coaching/ team teaching model
• Familiar with administering assessments, identifying students, and program delivery
• Committed to their own professional development

Qualifications

• Passion for working with gifted and talented students
• Experience with differentiated curriculum and team teaching
• Ability to communicate effectively with teachers
• Knowledge of assessment tools and student identification processes
• Commitment to ongoing professional growth

Skills

• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to differentiate instruction
