About the role

We are looking for customer service representatives with personality and people skills to join our growing team. Responsibilities

• Operate all store equipment and prepare products to standard specifications.
• Clean equipment and facility daily, maintaining a perfect image and adherence to standards.
• Provide great customer service, processing orders both over the phone and in person.
• Work to a schedule, ensuring punctuality and consistent attendance.
• Maintain store cleanliness and ensure safe, efficient operations.
• Comprehend and give correct written and verbal instructions.
• Perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) quickly and accurately, using a calculator if needed.
• Enter information into digital systems using a computer keyboard or touch screen.

Work Conditions

• Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when performing outside tasks (e.g., removing trash).
• In-store temperatures range from 36°F in the cooler to 90°F and above in some work areas, with sudden temperature changes.
• Exposure to food odors, cornmeal dust, and cramped quarters, including the walk-in cooler.
• Proximity to hot surfaces and tools (oven temperatures up to 500°F or higher), sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.

Temperaments

• Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, and work both alone and with others.
• Work under stress while meeting strict quality control standards.
• Deal effectively with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.

Physical Requirements

• Talking and hearing on the telephone.
• Near and mid-range vision for most in-store tasks, including depth perception.
• Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
• Most tasks are performed from a standing position, with short-distance walking for brief durations.
• Lifting and unloading bulk product deliveries (e.g., cases of ingredients and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds) twice a week or more. Cases are typically lifted from the floor and stacked onto shelves up to 72" high.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years old.
• Must be available to work between 3 PM and 11 PM.
• Must be available to work Saturday/Sunday or every other weekend.
