PITTSBURGH, PA - STRUCTURAL-MECHANICAL INSPECTORS

About the role

Assists with the planning, directing, and coordinating of various tank, pressure vessels, and piping inspection projects. Functions as both an inspector/examiner under API and PaDEP guidelines, responsible for all inspection and examination activities related to pressure vessels, storage tanks, piping, heat exchangers, structures, and other plant-related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates inspection activities for various types of plant equipment
• Performs inspections and examinations according to API and PaDEP standards
• Ensures compliance with all relevant safety regulations and industry guidelines
• Prepares and maintains documentation related to inspections and examinations
• Communicates findings and recommendations to project teams and management
• May lead or participate in training sessions for new inspectors

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in pressure vessel, tank, and piping inspection
• Knowledge of API and PaDEP standards and regulations
• Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
