Pitch Series Facilitator
SEED SPOT is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that empowers underrepresented, impact-driven entrepreneurs to launch and grow ventures that create positive social change. Through tailored accelerators, expert mentorship, and a nationwide network of resources and partners, SEED SPOT equips founders to build sustainable businesses with scalable impact. The organization has supported 4,616 entrepreneurs, 84% of whom are underrepresented founders, who have collectively generated significant revenue, raised substantial capital, and created thousands of jobs while advancing all 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. About the Program
SEED SPOT is partnering to deliver a three-part Pitch Series for Founders nearing the end of their cohort, helping them build a functioning pitch deck and gain real experience pitching on stage, culminating in a closed-door pitch event.
Responsibilities
- Facilitation: Deliver all three Pitch Series sessions (two workshops and the closed-door pitch event), helping founders refine their story, build fundraising confidence, and address misconceptions about their ability to pitch.
- Cohort Support: Host weekly office hours, manage cohort communication, and troubleshoot issues throughout the series.
- Coordination: Join SEED SPOT’s weekly scrum to report progress.
Requirements
- Industry expertise: Experience coaching startup founders on pitch, storytelling, or fundraising.
- Curriculum design: Demonstrated ability to build resources and content, slides, and founder-facing materials.
- Facilitation experience: Comfortable leading live sessions and giving real-time feedback in front of a group.
- Effective communicator and coach: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to give direct, constructive feedback.
- Passion for founder support: Commitment to helping early-stage, underrepresented entrepreneurs succeed.
