PIT Stand-Up Reach Forklift

Job Summary

Are you a skilled Reach Truck Operator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and isn't afraid of a little cold? We are hiring a reliable, safety-focused Reach Truck Operator to join our warehouse team in Henderson, NV. In this Temp-to-Hire role, you’ll operate stand-up reach trucks in a cold storage/freezer environment while assisting with general warehouse duties like receiving, stocking, and order picking. Cold-weather gear is provided!

Key Responsibilities

• Equipment Operation: Safely operate a stand-up reach truck to move, stack, rack, and retrieve pallets inside a sub-zero freezer warehouse.
• General Warehouse: Load and unload inbound/outbound shipments, stage products, and assist with general inventory tasks.
• Order Selection: Pick orders accurately using pick sheets or RF scanner technology.
• Maintenance & Safety: Perform daily pre-shift inspections on equipment, maintain a clean workspace, and strictly follow all OSHA and warehouse safety guidelines.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Reach Truck Experience: Minimum 1+ years of experience operating a stand-up reach truck (Freezer experience preferred, but not required).
• General Warehouse Knowledge: Prior experience in warehouse processes (receiving, picking, packing, inventory).
• Cold Tolerance: Ability to comfortably work long stretches in a cold storage / freezer environment (approx. -10°F to -30°F) with company-provided thermal gear.
• Physical Demands: Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs consistently, as well as stand/bend for extended periods.
• Reliability: Strong work ethic, reliable transportation, and punctual attendance.
