About the role

Warehouse associates are the foundation of our company’s success. They work actively, safely, and independently to maintain the efficient flow of products through our distribution process while ensuring quality standards. As a Forklift Operator, Formula, you will operate material handling equipment—such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks—to transport incoming freight to inventory, replenish pick slots, and support the production process in a multi-temperature warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

  • Operate stand-up reach truck in freezer.
  • Locate proper slots on storage racks, set pallets in place with forklift or hand stack items, and enter product data and location into the system.
  • Locate and perform count checks of incoming freight in staging areas and transport to freezer using forklift or pallet jack.
  • Replenish pick slots with outgoing stock items according to next day’s work orders.
  • Rotate date-sensitive stock to the front of the rack and remove outdated inventory per company policy.
  • Disperse over-stocked items to available slots for temporary storage.
  • Remove empty pallets, cardboard packing, and strapping to designated receptacles.
  • Inspect empty pallets for damage, stack, and move them to proper storage areas using pallet jack or forklift.
  • Follow all preferred work methods, safety policies, and procedures per company guidelines.
  • Ensure work area is safe and report unsafe conditions immediately.
  • Review work schedule, perform safety checks on equipment, obtain necessary supplies, and prepare for operations.
  • Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety gear.
  • Meet productivity and accuracy standards per location and company guidelines.
  • Work from receiving sheets, computer print-outs, established procedures, and verbal instructions.
  • Inspect items for damage, perform temperature and quality checks, and take appropriate action as needed.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties in work area as needed.
  • Remove batteries requiring recharging, replace with charged batteries, and complete vehicle inspection checklist.
  • Secure all equipment and complete necessary paperwork at the end of the shift.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent.
  • 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience, including stand-up reach truck operation.
  • Stable work history with demonstrated reliability and dependability.
  • Able to work scheduled/assigned times and required overtime.
  • Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
  • Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products from shelves, replenish product at various heights, and handle weights between 10–35 pounds (and up to 60–90 pounds, depending on location).
  • Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, and dry).
  • Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
