About the Role

As a Piping Superintendent, you'll be on the leading edge of turning blueprints into reality in some of the most complex and rewarding projects in the industry. Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the successful installation of piping systems on major industrial and commercial construction projects, ensuring compliance with all safety and quality standards.
  • Optimize workflow by coordinating with cross-functional teams, targeting a 10% reduction in project timeline completion compared to industry benchmarks.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and implement corrective actions to maintain zero safety incidents, aligning with the company’s uncompromising safety culture.
  • Ensure project milestones are met by maintaining daily progress reports and communicating effectively with stakeholders.
  • Develop and mentor a high-performing team, delivering consistent on-time, on-budget project completion.
  • Adapt to project changes with agility, monitoring resource allocations to achieve a minimum of 5% cost savings.
  • Develop strategic relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure the timely delivery of materials, keeping projects on schedule.

Work Environment

You'll report directly to the Project Manager and work closely with engineering and construction teams. The support structure includes state-of-the-art project management tools, comprehensive budgeting systems, and a dedicated in-house safety team. Ample resources are available to support your leadership in crafting projects of excellence.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in industrial or commercial piping construction, with a track record of leading teams to success.
  • Hands-on expertise with piping systems in sectors such as Petro-Chemical, Energy, and Heavy Industrial.
  • Proven ability to interpret complex blueprints and documents with precision and foresight.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality, with certifications in OSHA and relevant industry standards preferred.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills, adept at cultivating a cohesive and productive team environment.
