Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Design Technology or a related field (or equivalent practical experience of +2 years)
• 10+ years of piping design experience in industrial settings (Oil & Gas, Chemical, Pharmaceutical, or Semi-Conductors)
• Proficiency in Revit for piping design and modeling (minimum 3 years of solid Revit usage)
• Understanding of piping specifications, materials, equipment interfaces, and layout fundamentals
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, vendor drawings, and engineering documentation
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with general oversight while managing assigned design tasks
• Strong communication and coordination skills within a multi-disciplinary team environment
• Excellent organizational skills with a focus on model and drawing accuracy

Ideally, you will also have:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Technology or similar curriculum
• Experience in semiconductor facilities
• Working knowledge of pipe stress considerations and how they influence routing and support design
• Experience with QA/QC workflows, model health reviews, and specification-driven design
• Advanced capability with Revit such as family/part development and troubleshooting
• Prior leadership in Piping teams, including oversight of model consistency and deliverable quality

Responsibilities

• Independently develop piping designs, lead portions of project scope, and coordinate directly with engineers and other disciplines
• Provide technical input on operability, model quality, and design standards
• Support workshare execution and contribute to estimating and change-management discussions
