Responsibilities
- Provide engineering, walk-downs and inspections for piping systems in support of nuclear and non-nuclear projects at Y-12.
- Prepare design output documents including piping drawings, construction drawings, calculations, equipment data sheets, and specifications.
- Perform testing support; prepare bills of material for cost estimating and man-hour estimates.
- Experience with 3D modeling is desirable.
- Provide mechanical piping design support to the projects engineering group; may also involve existing facilities Operations design support
