Pipeline/Terminal Controller-NEBANDFM

Job Summary

CITGO Petroleum Corporation seeks a controller to remotely control and monitor product flow in various terminals and company-owned pipeline assets from a centralized Pipeline Control Center. The position involves ensuring daily receipt and deliveries meet regulatory and tariff requirements while optimizing equipment usage. The controller must maintain safe and reliable operations and support CITGO's Pricing Department with after-hours product allocation.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma required
• Prior related work experience preferred
• DOT/PHMSA Operator Qualification certification preferred
• Excellent communication skills required
• Strong ability to multitask
• Pre-screening job aptitude testing may be required

Specialized Job Duties

• Operate and monitor pipeline and SCADA automation systems
• Start and stop pumps, open and close valves, monitor tank levels and SCADA analog points
• Print and verify custody transfer tickets
• Perform daily terminal balance
• Originate malfunction and First Notification Reports
• Train new controllers
• Backup, monitor, and support console phone communications
• Maintain emergency phone numbers and review manuals
• Generate reports for various CITGO departments
• Update and monitor data in Excel, Eels, and other control center software
