Employee Type: Regular-Full time. This is a unionized position under Unifor 4960.
About the Role
You will be responsible for the operation and maintenance activities of the Transmission South Pipeline System, working in a team environment based in Hope, BC. The role is safety-sensitive, requires up to 50% travel with extended stays away from home, and involves working all Unifor 4960 shifts, including overtime.
Responsibilities
- Perform pigging and valve servicing to ensure the reliability and integrity of the pipeline and/or field services systems.
- Complete all required safety training.
- Handle general pipeline duties and maintenance.
- Perform maintenance, operations activities, and housekeeping.
- Work collaboratively with all stakeholders.
Requirements
- High School Diploma.
- Pipeline experience in pigging or valve service.
- Ground Disturbance Level 2 (or ability to obtain within the first 60 days).
- Valid driver’s license.
- Undergo background screening, including a 5-year driving record, criminal check, and drug testing (applicable to successful external candidates).
- Strong focus on safety.
- Willingness to work away from home on a regular basis and work overtime.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with corrosion integrity digs on hot lines.
- 5+ years of Ground Disturbance Level Two experience.
- Line Locating Certification.
- AMPP Coating Inspector Level 1.
- NDE Inspector Experience.
- Welder Inspector certification.
- Safe Work Permit Training.
- Knowledge of Enbridge SOPs.
Working Conditions
- Office and field work, including outdoor tasks in inclement weather.
- Up to 50% travel may be required with extended stays away from home base.
Pay
As per the Collective Agreement with Unifor 4960.
Schedule
40 hours per week.
