Pipeline Project Management Specialist - Houston, TX

About the role

As a Pipeline Project Management Specialist at Enbridge, you will lead a team delivering scopes of work within a large-scale pipeline and facilities project. This recruitment process seeks to fill two positions.

Responsibilities

• Own project delivery: Establish project objectives, develop charters and workplans, coordinate execution, track progress, manage interdependencies, and ensure delivery excellence.
• Manage risk and financial performance: Identify, assess, and proactively mitigate portfolio and program risks; coordinate budgets, forecasts, and financial performance to improve value realization.
• Inspire change adoption: Lead change strategies that embed new behaviors, support adoption, and ensure encouraged value realization, supported by measurable outcomes and data.
• Communicate with impact: Develop and complete communication strategies that align with business and project objectives. Maintain clear, timely, and effective communication with leaders, collaborators, team members, and external partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Business, or a related field. For candidates without a university degree, an additional 3 years of related experience is required (total of 10+ years).
• 7+ years of progressively senior experience in construction, operational, project management, or transformation leadership.
• Progressive experience leading large-scale, complex, multi-disciplinary portfolios, applying established project management methodologies to deliver strategic, enterprise-level outcomes.
• Advanced financial competence with the ability to develop, analyze, interpret, and present complex financial and performance metrics to support executive decision-making and value realization.
• Highly developed communication skills with a proven ability to synthesize complex data, risks, and trade-offs into clear, executive-level insights for senior leadership.
• Demonstrated ability to set priorities, manage competing demands, and deliver outcomes in fast-paced, ambiguous, and evolving environments.

Working Conditions

• Office environment.
• Significant travel required during the project, including frequent travel to the project location during construction.
• Strong potential for temporary relocation to the Southeast United States for a three-to-four-year period, with an expectation to return to the regular office location afterward.

Physical Requirements

• Grasping, kneeling, light–moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing.
• Sitting, standing, and ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.
• Visual requirement: able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print.
• Hearing requirement.

Pay

Salary ranges from $114,800 to $165,000/year USD for U.S. locations, based on candidate’s experience, skills, and internal equity.
