PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy environment by adhering to Company and Customer safety standards and procedures.
- Travel to clients' locations.
- Setting up, calibrating, and maintaining NDE equipment on projects
- Conducting robust inspections on pipelines and midstream facilities in addition to supervisor duties
- Conducting robust material verification using non-destructive techniques in addition to supervisor duties
- Direct assessment and correlation of In Line Inspection (ILI) runs on client assets in addition to supervisor duties.
- Identifies any non-NDE specific requirements for unique inspections such as OQs and reporting.
- Interpreting inspection results, completing inspection reports, and presenting final deliverables to customers.
- Ensures quality standards and client specific requirements are achieved.
- Read and interpret drawings and schematics.
- Assist other technicians in the field, as necessary.
- Supports and solicits input and feedback from team members at all levels within the organization.
- Works safely and completes all company and client safety daily paperwork.
- Must adhere to company and client policies and procedures in their entirety.
- Develops techniques and processes to be used by other NDE Technicians for specific NDE applications.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of Pipeline integrity experience required.
- Certified LVL 2 in all NDE methods Audubon implores.
- Experienced in Material Verification Inspections.
- Significant experience in report writing required.
- Able to assume the SME role with specific client.
- Intimate Knowledge of industry codes and standards required and ability to interpret and communicate these to other NDE technicians.
- Intimate Knowledge of client specific operating procedures and expectations.
- Customer communication skills required.
- Able to continually define ways to increase reporting quality and communicate effectively to the Audubon team.
- Eligible to work in the U.S., without sponsorship.
- Knowledge of all applicable computer and reporting software.
- Able to travel 80%.
