About the role

The Pipeline Locator is responsible for pipeline integrity and damage prevention activities by accurately locating and marking underground pipelines and utility assets. This position helps ensure safe excavation practices, protects critical infrastructure, and maintains regulatory compliance. The role requires strong safety awareness, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in field environments.

Responsibilities

• Locate underground pipelines and utilities using EM locating equipment, GPS, and maps.
• Mark identified pipelines and utility assets to prevent damage during excavation.
• Ensure safe excavation practices and protect critical infrastructure.
• Maintain regulatory compliance related to pipeline integrity and damage prevention.

Qualifications
