Position Summary
The General Foreperson must have the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities assigned by his/her immediate supervisor; provide the necessary information, drawings, specifications, materials, tools and equipment needed for crew(s) to accomplish the work.
Primary Responsibilities
- Aid in planning and scheduling;
- Enforce safe practices and job safety programs;
- Monitor all paperwork for accuracy, clarity and completeness;
- Analyze the work to find a more productive cost-efficient method;
- Maintain performance and provide written evaluation, assistance and training to all assigned employees;
- Prepare employees for additional responsibilities;
- Keep the proper management informed of all significant information.
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 years industrial construction/maintenance industry experience;
- NCEER Certified (Preferred) Supervisory experience (Preferred).
