General Assembler
Description
Do you want to work in a hands-on environment where you will work alongside others to make products used in well-known companies? As a Fabricator you will assist in the fabrication of specialty light weight food belts, food baskets, and fabric pieces used in the Quick Serve Restaurant line of business.
What You'll Do
- Places ends on fabricated parts for belts.
- Unloads cured belts from curing oven.
- Checks pattern on belts and weave of fabric on baskets for defects and sorts the products accordingly.
- Applies instructions, inserts pin, and packages belts and fabricated parts for shipment.
- Creates belts, baskets, and other fabricated items for the FPG business by following written or verbal work instructions.
- Packages belts, baskets, and other fabricated parts for shipment.
- Works at different work stations as production needs require and as directed by the supervisor.
- Works on line where tasks vary from sewing to heat sealing.
- Able to read orders and carry out essential functions of the job without direct supervision.
- Good working knowledge of quality control and attention to detail.
- Maintains work area, lightly cleaning as necessary.
- Correctly completes all inventory transactions in the ERP system.

- Minimum 6 months manufacturing experience.
- High school or general education degree (GED) preferred, but not required.

$16.50/hr (plus shift differential for 2nd shift)
