Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the installation of HVAC piping systems, including chilled water, hot water, condenser water, steam, and related mechanical systems.
- Lead crew members in layout, fabrication, assembly, and installation of piping systems.
- Interpret and work from blueprints, specifications, isometrics, and contract drawings.
- Ensure all work complies with company standards, project specifications, and safety regulations.
- Cook up daily work activities, manage manpower, and maintain productivity goals.
- Maintain material and equipment inventory; may authorize purchases of tools, equipment, and materials as needed.
- Promote and enforce a strong safety culture on-site.
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Extensive knowledge of HVAC mechanical piping systems and installation practices.
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a Journeyman Pipefitter.
- 3–5 years of experience as a Foreman or Crew Lead.
- Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Experience working on federal or military projects preferred.
- Ability to successfully pass a federal background check.
