Pipefitter Foreman

We are hiring multiple Pipefitter Foremen in Austin, TX for our client, a mechanical contractor supporting work in the local Austin market. This is an opportunity for experienced pipefitting and piping professionals who are ready to lead field crews while remaining actively involved in day-to-day construction operations.

About the Role

The Pipefitter Foreman will report directly to the Superintendent and take responsibility for coordinating assigned piping crews, field installation activities, manpower, materials, and daily production. Candidates should bring strong hands-on pipefitting knowledge along with the ability to organize work, communicate effectively with field leadership, and keep crews focused on safe, quality installation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily activities for assigned pipefitting crews.
• Direct the installation, assembly, layout, and completion of piping systems.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, plans, specifications, and piping layouts.
• Coordinate manpower, materials, tools, equipment, and daily work activities with the Superintendent.
• Monitor field production and communicate schedule, material, installation, and manpower concerns.
• Provide clear work direction to pipefitters and help maintain productive field operations.
• Reinforce established jobsite safety procedures and safe work practices.
• Coordinate piping installation with other field personnel and trades.
• Identify installation conflicts and communicate field issues to the Superintendent.
• Help ensure assigned piping work meets project expectations for quality and completion.

Requirements

• 5+ years of pipefitting/foreman experience.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of pipefitting and piping installation.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and piping layouts.
• Experience directing and coordinating field crews.
• Strong field communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with a Superintendent and other field personnel.
• A leadership approach that supports safe, organized, and productive field operations.

Benefits

• Sign-on bonus of $5,000–$8,000.

Pay

$38.00–$44.00 per hour.

Schedule

Full-time with overtime. This is a local Austin, TX position with no travel required.
