Roseburg also manufactures softwood and hardwood plywood, lumber, LVL, and I-joists. About the Role
Installs, maintains, and retrofits all plant systems for water, hydraulics, compressed air, sewer, steam, condensate, and fire protection. Certifications for water treatment are preferred but not required, with opportunities to obtain them available. Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
Responsibilities
- Fabricates air, water, steam, condensate, underground sprinkler, sewer, hose lines, and hydraulic systems using iron, steel, and other materials.
- Performs duties at multiple mill locations.
- Fights fires at the incipient phase.
- Reads blueprints or completes training to do so.
Requirements
- Must pass company alcohol and drug screen testing.
- Must be at least 18 years or older.
- Must maintain timely attendance per labor agreement/company policy.
- Must understand and adhere to prescribed safety procedures and company policy.
- Ability to understand verbal and written communication.
- Must meet applicable probationary period per labor agreement or company policy.
- Must possess basic knowledge of all tools required for this position.
Schedule
Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
