Responsibilities
- Replacing large valves
- Maintaining plant air, water, heating, glue, and oil distribution systems
- Maintaining and repairing local air conditioning units
- Replacing large heat exchangers
- Installing pipes
- Utilizing mobile equipment
- Working independently
- Operating overhead hoists
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- Completed a pipe fitter apprenticeship program or 5+ years of pipe fitter experience
- Willingness to work any shift, including night and swing shifts
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends
- Previous welding certification
- Knowledge of basic plumbing
- Enthusiasm and a sense of urgency
Qualifications
- Familiarity with air conditioning, refrigeration, pneumatics, and hydraulic systems
- A minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience preferred
