Pipefitter

Location: Tonawanda

Employer: Parise Mechanical – full‑time position.

Responsibilities

• Install, fabricate, and maintain complex piping systems such as steam, hot water, and refrigerant lines for commercial and industrial HVAC units.
• Work with high‑pressure systems, welding and assembling pipes to ensure secure, leak‑proof infrastructure.
• Apply knowledge of Mega‑Press and Pro‑Press tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
• Use welding torches, saws, pipe cutters, and related tools.
• Test piping systems for leaks and retrofit existing systems to improve efficiency.
• Complete work within contract deadlines while adhering to strict safety practices.

Requirements

• Reliability and strong work ethic.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with other trades and co‑workers.
• Comfort working in confined spaces.
• Experience with high‑pressure piping, welding, and pipe fabrication.
• Familiarity with Mega‑Press and Pro‑Press equipment is preferred.

Schedule

• Primarily first‑shift work.
• Occasional second‑shift assignments for school projects.
