Pipefitter

About the role

We are a growing mechanical contractor specializing in industrial piping, skid fabrication, and equipment installation. Our team works on a mix of shop-built systems and field projects, giving employees exposure to a variety of hands-on work.

Responsibilities

• Lay out and route piping from isometric drawings, mechanical plans, and field conditions
• Set hangers, supports, and anchors
• Test piping systems for leaks and ensure compliance with codes and project specs
• Learn new fabrication and fitting processes and techniques
• Maintain consistent quality requirements
• Operate and collaborate effectively under foremen
• Work safely with rigging, lifting equipment, and other work permits
• Cookordination with other trades on active construction sites

Requirements

• 1+ years of pipefitting experience in commercial or industrial mechanical work
• Able to read and work from isometric drawings, mechanical plans, and submittals
• Strong fit-up and layout skills
• Familiarity with working on active construction jobsites
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to job sites across Georgia
• Ability to work and communicate effectively as part of a team
• Willingness to learn and take direction

Qualifications

• Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
• Forklift, scissor lift, or boom lift certifications
