About the role
Lays out, fabricates, assembles, installs and maintains piping systems, pipe supports, fixtures, and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment for steam, hot water, heating, cooling, lubricating, sprinkling, and industrial production and processing systems. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision.
Responsibilities
- Lay out, fabricate, assemble, install, and maintain piping systems and related equipment.
- Work with hydraulic and pneumatic systems for steam, hot water, heating, cooling, lubricating, sprinkling, and industrial production.
Requirements
- Typically 2 years and above documented field experience in chosen craft discipline.
- Ability to read and interpret instructions and document, plan, and perform work activities independently.
- May require a high school diploma or its equivalent with previous years of experience in the field or a related area.
- Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and fit test.
