Pipe Layer

Responsibilities

• Lay ductile pipe for storm or sanitation sewers, drains, and water mains
• Perform any combination of the following tasks: grade trenches or culverts, position pipe, or seal joints
• Position pipe, frequently lifting up to 75 lbs
• Perform physical labor tasks such as shovel work and trench digging as involved with commercial construction pipe laying
• Adhere to safety protocol and work in a drug-free environment

Requirements

• 2 years of commercial construction pipe laying experience preferred
• Experience in underground ductile iron piping required
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs
• Must be able to stoop, bend, and stand for extended periods
