About the role
Premier TPA with Growth Opportunities is searching for a PIP Claims Adjuster with New York Adjusters License.
Responsibilities
- Handle a caseload commensurate with complexity level of assigned PIP/Medical Payment claims
- Investigate loss, determine coverage, coordinate medical care, manage litigation, assess damages, negotiate settlements, identify fraud, and utilize authorized vendors
- Ensure compliance with state statutes, client guidelines, and best practices
- Attend conferences, client meetings, mentor other adjusters and support management as needed
- Timely address claim metrics
- Other miscellaneous duties as assigned, which may include travel
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; 2-year degree or higher preferred
- Must have experience with litigation
- 3+ years of prior claim adjusting experience or have successfully completed the NARS Claims Trainee program
- Must possess an active New York Adjuster's license
- Must possess, or have the ability to obtain, a Florida Adjuster's license or other required jurisdictional licensing
