About the role

The Pilot is responsible for the safe operation of the aircraft, delivering in-flight service, loading baggage, and managing flights for owners with pets and those who smoke. The role requires a high level of professionalism and adaptability.

Responsibilities

  • Operate aircraft safely according to FAA guidelines, OEM checklists, NetJets Flight Operations Manual, and SOPs.
  • Greet Owners/passengers pre-flight, introduce them, brief them on the flight, verify itineraries, and provide weather updates and safety briefings.
  • Handle in-flight service including alcohol service and catering.
  • Load and properly stow baggage as needed.
  • Manage flights for Owners who smoke and those with pets.
  • Communicate maintenance abnormalities or discrepancies to the MCC Controller.
  • Complete any necessary paperwork related to maintenance issues.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • FAA ATP, Restricted ATP, or equivalent certification with multi-engine rating.
  • At least 21 years of age.
  • 1,500 hours total flight time experience or 1,250 hours with appropriate university R-ATP certificate or 1,000 hours with military pilot qualification or 1,000 hours with appropriate university R-ATP certificate.
  • 200 hours cross-country flight time.
  • 250 hours fixed-wing PIC.
  • 100 hours of night flying, or 75 hours with ≥45 night takeoffs and landings.
  • 75 hours of instrument time.
  • ATP written completed prior to Indoctrination Training.
  • 50 hours fixed-wing, multi-engine time.
  • Current FAA First-Class Medical certificate.
  • FCC Restricted Radio Operator's Permit.
  • Valid passport.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. and travel internationally without restriction.
  • Ability to work varying hours including day and night; weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
  • Extremely flexible and able to adjust to rapid changes.
  • Able to manage rest to be prepared for flight duty.
  • Able to secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges.
  • Pass TSA background screening and obtain airport authority and/or US Customs security badges.
  • Able to travel internationally without restrictions.
  • Able to read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language.
  • Service-oriented with neat, well-groomed appearance and strong capability to interact positively with passengers.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, especially under pressure.
  • Able to make quick and accurate decisions while paying close attention to detail.
  • Able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
  • Able to work around animals, including handling and caring for them before, during, and after Owner flights.
  • Able to conduct flights for Owners who smoke.

Qualifications

  • Education: Relevant aviation degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2,000 hours of flight time.
