Our health system encompasses two hospital locations in Robbinsdale and Maple Grove, as well as a network of 23 clinics, including 13 primary clinics, 6 specialty clinics, 4 urgent care/urgency centers, and emergency care offerings covering five counties. Robbinsdale Hospital, established in 1954, is a 385-bed facility recognized as the top Level 1 Trauma center for 25 years and a Level II pediatric trauma center. Maple Grove Hospital, established in 2009, is a 134-bed facility recognized for Women and Children Care, featuring a Level III NICU and the state’s largest Family Birth Center (5,000 deliveries per year and over 60,000 babies delivered). About the Role
The Pilot is responsible for the safety and efficient conduct of flight assignments. Must be willing and capable of performing the duties of a single pilot IFR Captain in actual IMC weather conditions.
This position is eligible for a $15,000 sign-on bonus and a $30,000 retention bonus after 3 years. Current or former team members employed by North Memorial Health, Maple Grove Health, or Blaze Health in the last six months are not eligible. Sign-on bonuses have a repayment commitment if the commitment is not fulfilled.
Requirements
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- FAA Commercial Rotorcraft Certification (ATP Preferred)
- Helicopter Instrument Rating
- Current FAA Class 1 Medical Certificate
Experience
- 1500 hours helicopter or 2000 total flight hours with a minimum of 1200 helicopter hours
- 1000 Hours PIC in rotorcraft
- 500 Hours Cross Country
- 75 Hours Actual or Simulated Instruments (50 hours in actual flight)
- 500 Hours Turbine Time
- 50 hours unaided night if the pilot has 100 hours aided
Licensure/Certification
- FAA airline transport pilot or commercial pilot licensed with helicopter and instrument rating (helicopter)
- Must pass and obtain a FAA Class I medical exam on a semi/biannual basis
- Must pass drug and alcohol testing at initial hiring and then on a random testing basis
- Valid Class D Driver's license in the state of residency with an acceptable driving record

Pay
Salary Range: N26 ($46.76 - $70.14), based on experience. Compensation may include shift differential pay depending on the position and shift worked.

- Hours per two-week pay period: 80
- Shift: Day/Night, 12 hours
- Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend
