Responsibilities
- Acquaint passengers in use of aircraft cabin equipment and emergency procedures, see to their comfort while in the aircraft and assist them with baggage and surface transportation
- Study weather information in advance of flights; determine advisability of the flights; utilize information to select routings, altitudes, and intermediate steps for passenger comfort and safety; check airport and airway data that may affect conduct of flights; and complete and file flight plans with FAA facilities
- Supervise loading of passengers, baggage and freight; determine that aircraft performance data and weight and balance are within certifiable limits

- Coordinate flight planning with operational and scheduling personnel to advise passengers of arrival and departure times and weather information and to resolve Other Passenger Requirements
- Complete pre-flight inspection of aircraft; check all consumables such as fuel, oil and anti-icing fluids to ascertain adequate quantities; ascertain that all normal and emergency supplies and equipment are placed on board; and determine that aircraft is airworthy and prepared for flight in accordance with FAA and Company regulations
- Ensure servicing, storing and proper care and protection of company aircraft and equipment while away from home base; issue purchase orders and sign for fees and services contracted; conduct post-flight inspection of aircraft; and report malfunction and operating data to the maintenance section
- Complete and file FAA records and reports; complete aircraft and flight reports; and maintain personal flight log and records
- Study and maintain thorough knowledge of FAA regulations, airport landing areas, air traffic control procedures, communications frequencies and techniques
- Maintain thorough knowledge of aircraft flight operations and systems manuals; study and familiarize self with available information on current developments, techniques, and procedures in the aviation industry
- Maintain passenger and business confidentiality regarding use of company aircraft
- Perform other aviation-related, non-flying duties as required
Qualifications
- Minimum flight experience required 3,000 hours total; 1,000 hours turbine PIC, 500 hours jet, and 200 hours in the last 12 months
- Previous corporate flying experience preferred
- Experience flying aircraft heavier than 12,500 lbs. at takeoff
- Preferred experience; Challenger 604, Gulfstream G100 and/or King Air 350i
- Associates degree or equivalent required
- Current 1st Class FAA Medical Certificate required
- FAA ATP certificate w/multi-engine endorsement required
- No prior aviation incidents/accidents/violations
- Valid US Passport/FCC Restricted Radio Operator Cert. required
