About the Role
This role involves providing compassionate, high-quality nursing care to pediatric and PICU patients, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, evaluating care, and ensuring patient rights and confidentiality are upheld. Responsibilities
- Delivering patient-centered care using the nursing process
- Coordinating with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Supporting and evaluating care provided by others
- Maintaining patient rights and confidentiality
- Adapting to unit needs, including floating to other units if required
Requirements
- Accredited nursing degree; BSN preferred
- PICU/PEDS RN experience
- RN license in MO or a compact state within 90 days of graduation
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association
- Passion for working with children and providing exceptional care
