Pickup and Delivery Driver

Lou Fusz Ford of Chesterfield is seeking a reliable, customer-focused Part-Time Pickup & Delivery Driver to support our Service Department. This position plays a key role in providing exceptional customer service by picking up and delivering customer vehicles safely and efficiently. The hours would be 7am till 12pm. The ideal candidate is professional, punctual, and enjoys interacting with customers while representing the Lou Fusz brand. This is a union position governed by the Automotive, Petroleum and Allied Industries Employees Union, Local 618.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver customer vehicles for service appointments in a safe and timely manner.
• Provide outstanding customer service during all customer interactions.
• Conduct vehicle walk-arounds and document vehicle condition before and after transport.
• Maintain communication with service advisors and dispatch personnel regarding delivery schedules and updates.
• Ensure all company policies, traffic laws, and safety procedures are followed.
• Assist with dealership errands and vehicle transportation as needed.
• Keep accurate records of vehicle pickups, deliveries, mileage, and customer signatures.
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude while representing the dealership.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to safely operate a variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and SUVs.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated.
• Ability to use a smartphone or tablet for scheduling and customer communications.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be willing to submit to pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to enter and exit vehicles frequently throughout the day.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, and drive for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.

Schedule

• Part-time hours with flexible scheduling.
• Availability during dealership service department operating hours.
• Some Saturday availability may be required.
