About the Role

As a Delivery Driver at Aaron’s, you’ll be actively engaged in a dynamic, store-based position that involves driving, installing, and demonstrating merchandise. This isn’t a desk job—every day brings variety, from working indoors and outdoors to connecting with customers in the community. You’ll also support the store by assisting with moving and picking up merchandise.

This role can be the first step in a rewarding career path, with opportunities to grow into positions like Customer Accounts Advisor, Sales Manager, Customer Accounts Manager, or General Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Load, secure, and protect merchandise for delivery
  • Offload, install, and demonstrate merchandise to customers
  • Safely operate a delivery vehicle
  • Assist in the store as needed

Requirements

  • Solid communication skills
  • Working knowledge of electronics
  • Desire to help customers
  • Must be at least 21 years old (18 in Canada)
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Must meet DOT requirements for certification (U.S.)
  • Able to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs. without help and 300 lbs. with a dolly (training and tools provided)
  • Able to work in all outdoor weather conditions, including rain and extreme heat
  • Valid driver’s license required (CDL not required)
  • No overnight travel

Pay

The salary range for this role is $14.75 to $15.50 per hour. An employee’s pay within this range will be based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business needs.
