Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes, and leads specific activities, routines, and/or games for all participants
• Leads with enthusiasm and positive motivation in program
• Organizes and maintains program records including attendance records, rosters, etc.
• Manages all equipment and maintains a clean and risk-free environment
• Communicates effectively and timely with program participants and parents
• Ensures all children are picked up by a parent
• Promotes other YMCA programs by handing out brochures, answering questions, or referral to appropriate person
• Ensures compliance with all YGBW policies and standard operating procedures
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Requirements

• 18 years of age with high school diploma or GED
• Minimum of 5 years of advanced experience in specialized skill
• Minimum of 4 years teaching specialized skill
• Training and qualifications in the specialized instruction area
• Demonstrate advanced knowledge of specialized skill
• Ability to effectively use technology for programmatic needs
• Obtain and maintain all new hire certifications and trainings within 90 days of hire
