Picking Clerk/Warehouse

This position is for a client in Spartanburg, SC.

About the role

In addition to locating and picking merchandise from picking documents, also responsible for properly staging, checking, packaging, and consolidating merchandise in both the bulk and stockless departments. Assists in the stockless transfer process.

• Locate and pick merchandise from picking documents
• Properly stage, check, package, and consolidate merchandise in both bulk and stockless departments
• Assist in the stockless transfer process

Requirements

• Excellent attendance record
• Basic math skills
• Ability to perform all physical motions typical of an order picker including bending, reaching, stretching, walking, pushing carts, standing or walking for long periods (often over 8 hours per shift), and lifting
• Ability to push/pull carts weighing 100 lbs. or more repeatedly throughout the shift (with or without reasonable accommodation)
• Ability to handle stress in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment while maintaining a positive attitude
• Willingness to work overtime as needed
• Successful completion of pre-employment background check and drug screening
• Previous warehouse or distribution center experience preferred
• Forklift experience preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience

Schedule

Second shift, Monday through Sunday, 1:00 PM – 10:00 PM. Standard weekly overtime. Estimated regular hours per week: 40. Drug screening and background checks are required.
