Picking Associate

Responsible for

• Filling customer orders and delivering them safely and efficiently.
• Picking customer orders accurately, ensuring the right quantity and type of product is loaded and shipped.
• Completing and verifying the accuracy of all orders with assistance from the Picking Supervisor or Stock Checker if needed.
• Sorting and organizing merchandise during the picking process to facilitate easy checking by the Dock Team and preparation for shipping.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Ability to perform tasks independently with minimal supervision.
• Forklift and other heavy machinery certification must be obtained within one month of starting the job.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to operate a stand-up forklift after receiving training.
• Required to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform tasks requiring bending and reaching overhead.
• Must be capable of meeting deadlines and demonstrating strong organizational skills to quickly locate and provide merchandise.
