Picking Associate

Responsibilities

• Filling customer orders and delivering them to the dock area while adhering to company standards for safety, security, and productivity.
• Picking customer orders accurately, ensuring the correct quantity and type of product is loaded and shipped.
• Completing and verifying the accuracy of all orders filled, collaborating with the Picking Supervisor and/or Stock Checker on any issues.
• Sorting and organizing merchandise during the picking process to facilitate easy checking by the Dock Team and preparation for shipping.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Ability to perform tasks independently with minimal supervision.
• Obtain forklift and other heavy machinery certification within one month of starting the job.
• Capable of planning and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to operate a stand-up forklift after receiving training.
• Required to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform tasks requiring bending and reaching overhead.
• Must be capable of working under tight deadlines, demonstrating strong organizational skills to efficiently find and provide merchandise.
