Picker

About the role

The Picker position at Brian Tooley Racing is a key role within our warehouse operations. This role is crucial for ensuring that customer orders are picked accurately and efficiently, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting the overall smooth operation of our warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Print and sort customer orders each day
• Pick customer orders accurately using pick tickets, scanners, or warehouse management systems
• Verify part numbers, quantities, and product condition before staging orders
• Stage completed orders for packing and shipping
• Absorb inventory counts, cycle counts, and inventory accuracy initiatives
• Restock inventory in designated warehouse locations
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work environment
• Report inventory discrepancies, damaged products, or shortages to management
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as authorized (training provided)
• Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse processes
• Assist with receiving, stocking, packing, and other warehouse duties as needed
• Work collaboratively with warehouse, shipping, and sales teams to ensure timely order fulfillment
• Assist with other tasks/duties as assigned or deemed necessary by management

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous warehouse, order picking, or distribution experience preferred
• Ability to accurately read and interpret pick tickets, work orders, and product information
• Basic computer skills and the ability to learn warehouse management systems and scanning equipment
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to order accuracy and inventory integrity
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members
• Demonstrate a positive attitude, flexibility, and willingness to assist in other warehouse functions as business needs require
• Consistently meet productivity and accuracy expectations while following established warehouse procedures
• Comply with all company safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work area
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, frequently bend, stoop, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout the workday
• Ability to safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (training provided)
