Pick Up and Delivery Driver - Tampa, FL

About the role

As a Pick-Up and Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for picking up and delivering Goodyear Commercial Tire and Service Center products in a timely and professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver new and retreaded commercial tires, casings, and other tire-related products between Goodyear Commercial Tire & Service Centers, customers, and Goodyear dealers.
• Maintain customer relationships, including building and sustaining customer satisfaction.
• Assist with loading and unloading commercial tires, casings, wheels, mounted wheel assemblies, and related products while following all safety rules and procedures.
• Complete documentation for deliveries.
• Provide "Service Excellence – Always" to meet service goals for the location and customers.
• Keep all documents and maintenance records up to date on assigned equipment (e.g., DOT Log).
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
• Perform manual tasks for extended periods, including light and heavy lifting, standing, bending, and squatting.

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver's license for the type of vehicle required for the position and meet commercial driver qualification requirements.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• No relocation offered for this position.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (preferred).
• Previous delivery driving experience (preferred).
• Strong oral and written communication ability.
• Commitment to following all safety procedures and working safely.
• Able to work in a results-oriented, fast-paced environment as part of a team.
• Self-starter willing to take initiative, work without direct supervision, and attend training sessions.
