Pick Up and Delivery Driver
About the role
MHC is seeking a Pick Up and Delivery Driver to drive a company vehicle within an assigned area to pick up or transport parts. The role requires skill in planning, organizing, and scheduling parts pick-up and delivery requirements, and includes assisting the shipping and receiving clerk in checking in and stocking parts. This is a safety-sensitive position that involves operating company vehicles and handling parts efficiently while maintaining safety and compliance standards.
Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver parts as assigned in the most efficient manner.
- Assist the shipping and receiving clerk in checking in and stocking parts.
- Ensure proper safety, care, and maintenance of company vehicles assigned to the Parts Department.
- Maintain a driving record within company requirements.
- Maintain the fuel and maintenance log for company vehicles.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
This position is designated as safety-sensitive, meaning it involves operating heavy equipment or vehicles where lapses in attention could result in injury, illness, or death.
Requirements
