About the Role

Join Gentell, Inc. and its affiliated companies as a Pick and Pack Associate in a small, team-oriented operation within the growing medical industry. Gentell is the second largest national provider of wound care products and programs to the long-term care industry, dedicated to improving patient outcomes and reducing costs. You’ll be part of a mission-driven team focused on enhancing the quality of life for the elderly.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble boxes and bundle products into packs.
  • Pull and pack products based on daily orders using order sheets via computer software.
  • Verify quantity and item codes before shipment.
  • Generate shipping labels using software and ensure correct shipping information is attached.
  • Seal and tag containers, confirm order accuracy, and sign pick tickets.
  • Move completed orders to the shipping area.
  • Receive incoming freight and store materials in appropriate areas.
  • Operate a forklift to load/unload trucks and move materials throughout the facility (if trained and certified).
  • Maintain an organized, clean, sanitary, and safe work area.
  • Assist with replenishing stock, taking inventory, and reporting shortages.
  • Follow good manufacturing practices and required work safety practices.
  • Utilize a continuous improvement mindset to identify process improvement opportunities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent.
  • 1 year or more experience in picking and packing.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work harmoniously with a diverse range of people.
  • Proficiency with tools required for the position (e.g., tape gun, label gun, bag sealer, cart, dolly).
  • Physically agile and dexterous, capable of standing for at least 8 hours a day.
  • Ability to reach, bend, twist, squat, lift and carry up to 25 lbs., and push boxes on a cart or dolly.
  • Proficient organizational skills and ability to meet customer order specifics accurately and timely.
  • Good computer skills; experience with shipping software preferred.

  • Computer, office phone, printer, scanner, copy machine.
  • Tape gun, label gun, bag sealer, cart, dolly.
  • Forklift (if properly trained and certified).

Schedule

Full-time, 8-hour shift.
